A former US Operative, who lived in Russia in his earlier years and had been married there with a child, comes out of retirement to face down a former enemy, now running as a candidate for President in modern Russia. Working with a Russian policewoman, they work to uncover a plot to use biological weapons against certain factions of the Russian people to commit genocide. The virus would also be released in other populations, but would be treated making the candidate a hero. A side plot has the agent being reunited with his long lost daughter.

Solo Icon, formerly Solo Idol, is a Solomon Islands yearly singing competition, established in 2006 but not part of the Idol franchise. McPherson Baea won the inaugural competition, and Fay Indu was the winner of Solo Idol in 2007. David Auna won Solo Idol 2008, and Jeddy Dyer was the winner in 2009; Solo Icon 2010 was won by Joshua Bshaller Pa'ahanua. The competition was named "Solo Idol" from 2006 to 2008, but changed its name to "Solo Icon" in 2009.
MTV Icon was a series of annual television specials produced by MTV between 2001 and 2004, each paying homage to a musical artist or band selected as a cultural icon, in a format similar to the network's annual Video Music Awards and Movie Awards events. A live audience of musicians, celebrities, and fans would view a biographical film produced by MTV depicting the career of that year's chosen icon, interspersed by celebrity introductions and live performances of popular artists playing cover versions of the icon's songs. The iconic artist would then accept an award and perform a live set of their own at the close of the show. The series celebrated Janet Jackson in 2001, Aerosmith in 2002, Metallica in 2003, and The Cure in 2004.
Football Icon was a British television programme shown on Sky One. The programme gave young, unsigned football players between the ages of 16 and 18 a chance to win a contract with the then Premiership champions, Chelsea. Thousands of players who entered were whittled down to fourteen finalists, all of whom were put to the test at their Cobham training ground. The players were eliminated week by week until only the final three remained, when then-manager José Mourinho and his staff selected a winner.

Pakistan Sangeet Icon is a reality-based singing competition shown on MTV Pakistan, Indus TV and Gkaboom. It is based on the popular British show Pop Idol and its American counterpart American Idol. The show aims to find the most talented young singer in Pakistan. The show begins with a cross-country tour in which aspiring singers audition in front of three judges, namely Ali Haider, Mekaal Hasan and Pappu. Eventually the number of performers is narrowed down with each competitor performing live. Viewers have two hours following the broadcast of the show to phone or text in their votes for their favourite competitor. On the following week, the competitor with the fewest votes is eliminated. The two remaining finalists battle it out during the Finale and viewers have more time allotted to vote. The next day, the competitor with the most votes is declared the winner and is awarded One Crore Rupees.
Icons was a documentary TV show on G4 that originally focused on significant people, companies, products, history, and milestones in world of video games. It was relaunched in 2006 and focused entirely on pop culture. It was cancelled soon afterwards. On May 10, 2006, it was announced that Icons was relaunching on June 3 with an episode focusing on J.J. Abrams. The show will feature a broader scope on things and people "men 18–34 care about, admire and emulate." Future episodes would focus on Marc Ecko, The Onion, and Family Guy. This change in format had been suspected, due to the recent episodes about George A. Romero, Frank Miller and the history of the King Kong franchise. The classic video game themed episodes continued to air on the network sporadically until 2008, under the new name of Game Makers.

The series is created and executive produced by Byron Allen and distributed through his production and distribution company Entertainment Studios. The series profiles young people and their accomplishments. Its second season began airing on March 5, 2011.
Big Ten Icons is a television show in the Big Ten Network that showcases outstanding Big Ten athletes. Its subjects range over a wide period of time and include all sports. The series began in the fall of 2010 and featured 20 episodes, each one featuring a different Big Ten college athlete and ranked in order. The final episode premiered on March 11 of 2011 and featured the number one athlete. Following this series is the Big Ten Icons: The Coaches which is currently airing new episodes.
